FanHouse national college football writer Brett McMurphy shares his weekly Associated Press Top 25 ballot along with his next 15 best teams for FanHouse's Fab 40.
BATON ROUGE, La. - And then there were four.
Entering the final four weeks of the regular season, there are only four remaining unbeaten teams. And, not so surprisingly, they head my AP Top 25 ballot: No. 1 Oregon, No. 2 Boise State, No. 3 TCU and No. 4 Auburn.
Those Fab Four teams are ranked in the same order as I had them on my AP ballot this week. They all were impressive this week, with each team winning by at least 35 points.
I think you could rank those four schools in any order and make a convincing argument on why you ranked them that way. That's how close I believe these teams are and, until they actually play each other, we'll never know which team is better.
With still four unbeatens, that's why unless two of the four unbeatens lose down the stretch, at least one 12-0 team will not have an opportunity to play for the BCS national title.
Which is a shame.
The teams that made the biggest moves on my AP ballot this week: LSU, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, UCF and Texas A&M.
The teams that took the biggest dips: Utah, Alabama, Arizona, Oklahoma, Missouri, South Carolina.
