Hands up if you thought Victoria Beckham was miserable old wench devoid of all human emotion? Yeah? So did we. But it turns out we were wrong.
During last night?s BBC Sports Personality of the Year, at the LG Arena in Birmingham, David Beckham was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
Watched on by his proud wife Posh, parents Sandra and Ted, three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and last but not least his sister Joanne, the former England footballer thanked his family for all their support.
He said, ?Of course, I want to thank my wife and my children.
?Not only has she given me three amazing boys but I also want to thank her for the support she's given me.
?She is truly an inspiration for me every single day. So Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - thank you.?
Cue tears from Posh and even Beckham welled up when he received a surprisingly long standing-ovation. Aw.
