Audi and Mercedes have welcomed the addition of BMW to the DTM grid from 2012. Audi motorsport boss Dr Wolfgang Ullrich and Mercedes motorsport chief Norbert Haug say their brands are looking forward to competing against BMW, and believe the presence of a third manufacturer will help to cement the series' long-term strength.
