It may seem odd that unlucky-in-love Jennifer Love Hewitt is now dating ABC?s The Bachelorette cast-off Ben Flajnik ? but considering her history of random connections to the show, these two actually make perfect sense as a couple.
This is not the first time the former Party of Five actress? name has been used in conjunction with the hit reality series. Last June, when Jennifer was single, she was spotted hanging out with former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky. The two had a girls' night at Hamburger Mary?s and played bingo in West Hollywood.
And right around the same time she was palling around with Ali, there was talk of Jennifer becoming be the next Bachelorette contestant herself. Those rumors were eventually shot down, but no matter ? J. Love was able to get a date with a Bachelorette contestant without even having to go on the show.
Last week, the 31-year-old self-described "hopeless romantic" went public with her new man. On August 2, she tweeted "OMG! Ben F my final rose," during the finale of The Bachelorette, "joking" that she was going to "book a flight to Sonoma." By August 6, fans realized this was no joke. She was spotted in a full-on lip-lock with Ashley Hebert?s rejected winemaker while having dinner at the Lion Pub in San Francisco.
Ben, 28, may be in luck this time ? it?s doubtful Jennifer would ever reject his proposal. After all, she?s made no secret of the fact that she?s already picked out engagement rings and baby names. Let?s hope The Bachelor-obsessed star didn?t put J.P. or Ashley at the top of that list!
