President Barack Obama appeared on US TV last night to confirm that Osama Bin Laden has been killed.
During the dramatic speech from the White House Mr Obama said, ?Justice has been done? and as a result celebrities were quick to respond to the news.
Lily Allen joked, ?I know that Osama Bin Laden is dead, but if we could all stop for a minute to consider today's REAL news I'd very much appreciate it... It is my birthday? - Ha ha! Oh wait, she's not joking.
Piers Morgan then poignantly said, ?Bin Laden dead. Wow... What a moment for Obama. What a moment for America. Magnificent address by the President. And magnificent operation. This is his finest hour.?
While others, including Rio Ferdinand, didn?t seem convinced that it is such great news.
The footballer said, ?Will revenge be on peoples minds...does this antagonise.... was there any other option...when will this all end in peace?? #worryingtimes?
