Before their babies grow up, Teen Mom 2 reality stars are scrambling to strike while the iron?s hot.
Leah Messer, mother of 14-month-old twins Aleeah and Aliannah, is struggling to keep her family afloat. By combining her reality TV earnings with her part-time dental assistant paychecks, she recently dropped a huge sum on a new Ford Focus and a spacious house more than an hour away from her West Virginia hometown.
?Leah wants a fresh start,? an insider says of the 18-year-old, who, as In Touch previously reported, was contemplating divorcing husband Corey, 20, after sneaking visits with her bad-boy ex, Seth George. (A rep denied the story and Leah says her relationship is ?as strong as ever.?)
With her marriage on the rocks and her days on Teen Mom numbered, Leah is frantically trying to figure out a way to keep the MTV money rolling in ? in case she ends up a single mom.
?Leah pitched a spin-off show about her life as a mature mom and wife,? a family friend explains. ?She knows it?s the best way to provide for her family.?
