'Amazing Spider-Man' Lizard Leak Raises Questions

In this week's Marvel Mania, we use a recent 'Spider-Man' controversy to consider whether it's fair to judge a movie based on leaks.
By Josh Wigler

Over the years, big-budget blockbusters have revealed themselves in increasingly inventive ways. "The Dark Knight" gave us our first look at Heath Ledger's Joker by way of an elaborate viral game, for instance, and just this year, "The Dark Knight Rises" instituted a similar treatment for the villainous Bane. Even on the Marvel side of the aisle, we've seen creative, out-of-the-box revelations — like the buildup to "The Avengers" through numerous post-credits sequences, for example.

But revealing your villain through a PEZ dispenser? That's a new one, even for the House of Ideas!

Nonetheless, that's exactly how we got our first look at the Lizard, the villain played by Rhys Ifans in next summer's "The Amazing Spider-Man." Earlier in the week, a photo of an officially licensed "Spider-Man" PEZ dispenser leaked online and gave eager webheads their first and, really, only taste yet of what Curt Connors' monstrous transformation will look like when the Sony film swings into theaters.

A separate leak occurred earlier Wednesday (November 30), this time in the form of an alleged concept design showing Lizard in all his menacing glory. Folks lucky enough to have caught the "Amazing Spider-Man" panel at Comic-Con this year are largely in agreement on the blurry design's authenticity, giving fans bummed by the PEZ reveal another shot at getting to know the Lizard on better terms.

We can argue for days over whether the design itself is up to snuff — the biggest bone of contention is Lizard's lack of an elongated snout, based on fan reactions seen thus far — but no one's going to stand here and say that a frickin' PEZ dispenser is the best way to meet a highly anticipated movie character for the very first time. The concept art, however, is a somewhat different story; if that's a legitimate design, whether officially released or not, perhaps it is worth decoding.

For me, Lizard-Gate raises an interesting point about the changing shape of movie consumption in the digital age. Early looks at leaked material — like the Lizard concept art and his filthy PEZ habit — can either build buzz and excitement for a movie or they can crush all enthusiasm in one fell swoop. But is it fair to judge this crucial aspect of "Spider-Man" (or any movie) based on something that wasn't officially released? Can we really pile hate on Lizard based on candy of all things?

In a perfect world, we would be able to reserve all judgment of a movie until the movie's actual arrival. But it's not a perfect world; it's a lightning-paced digital one, and where there's an Internet, there's a picture of a Lizard PEZ dispenser that's bound to inform your opinion of "Amazing Spider-Man" in some way, no matter how big or small. Ultimately, it comes down to the click of a button: Are you so curious about an upcoming movie that you need to digest any and all information as soon as it's available, or can you look away long enough for the official goods to drop?

I don't think there's a right or a wrong answer here. In the end, it's a personal choice: Either you want to look, or you don't. Nobody's going to die because you stared at a PEZ dispenser for a few minutes (don't hold me to that, please). But the next time you find yourself on the horizon of that choice, consider Uncle Ben's famous words of wisdom: With great power comes great responsibility — or, to riff on another famous phrase, "To PEZ or not to PEZ; that is the question."

'Rampart' Star Woody Harrelson On The 'Marvelous Movie' That Almost Wasn't

Last week, reports surfaced that Woody Harrelson did not like the film that's earning him Best Actor buzz, "Rampart." Angelina Jolie opens up about her past: ?I didn't die young, so I'm very lucky?

During a frank interview with 60 Minutes, Angelina Jolie has opened up about her past and how she feels lucky to be alive.

The 36-year-old actress said, ?I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them. I didn't die young, so I'm very lucky. There are other artists and people who didn't survive certain things.?

She explained, ?I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous and I did the worst, and for many reasons I shouldn't be here. You think of those too many times where you came close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too far.?

But before we all start to label Ange dull and boring she hastily added, ?I'm still a bad girl. I still have that side of me. It's just in its place now. ... It belongs to Brad.?

'Breaking Dawn' Screenwriter Invited Herself To Wedding

'I was [Bella's mom] Renee's friend from California,' Melissa Rosenberg says of scripting backstory for her 'Part 1' cameo.
By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

The wedding scene from "Breaking Dawn - Part 1"

The first "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" teaser trailer, released back in June, gave fans a look at the wedding of Bella Swan and Edward Cullens. But equally interesting were the guests of honor featured in the wedding sequence, which introduced new characters like the Denali clan of vampires. But with the movie in theaters on Friday (November 18), one attendee in particular will likely have Twilighters geeking out.

"The Twilight Saga" author Stephenie Meyer made her first cameo in the series back in 2008's "Twilight," playing a restaurant patron. But the author-turned-executive producer on parts 1 and 2 of "Breaking Dawn" couldn't resist returning to the big screen so she could attend the wedding ceremony she inspired. In a blink-and-you-miss it moment, Meyer can be spotted sitting in the pews on Bella and Edward's big day. But she's not the only behind-the-scenes figure who makes a sneak appearance.

"I'm right next to her!" "Breaking Dawn" screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg recently told MTV News.

Rosenberg understands, however, if fans don't recognize her on the first viewing, because even she couldn't find her cameo at first. She admitted to jokingly telling director Bill Condon that "there's one guest at the wedding who's not seen enough," until Condon added a few more frames in the movie. But when Rosenberg still couldn't spot herself among the guests, Condon took matters into his own hands.

"Finally, during one screening, he stopped and said, 'See! There you are!' " she said with a laugh. "It was Stephenie and then [producer] Wyck Godfrey and then myself and then [producer] Bill Bannerman, we were all in the same row at the wedding."

And as Meyer and Rosenberg are behind the "Twilight Saga" screenplays, it only makes sense that they took the time to come up with a backstory for their respective characters at the wedding.

"Stephenie was married to Wyck, and I was [Bella's mom] Renee's friend from California," Rosenberg explained. It sounds like there's a fan-fiction to be written about the time between Meyer's diner dinner and when she got invited to the Cullen wedding!"

'Breaking Dawn' Scores Fifth-Biggest Box-Office Debut

'Twilight' flick's $139.5 million weekend puts it in the record books, with 'Happy Feet Two' at a distant second.
By Ryan J. Downey

"Twilight" fans raced to theaters faster than Jacob running to stop Bella and Edward's wedding and gave "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" the fifth-biggest opening weekend of all time.

The fourth film in the romantic vampires-and-werewolves phenomenon collected $139.5 million domestically (more than $30 million of which was from midnight showings early Friday) for an estimated $283.5 million worldwide haul.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" stands behind only "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" ($169.2 million), "The Dark Knight" ($158.4 million), "Spider-Man 3" ($151.1 million) and 2009's "New Moon" ($169.2 million) on the all-time opening-weekend scorecard. It's worth noting that the "Twilight" grosses haven't relied on pricier 3-D or IMAX tickets like "Potter" or "Dark Knight." The new movie's numbers were within roughly 2 percent of the "New Moon" franchise best and helped propel the series' overall numbers past $2 billion worldwide.

Of the 54 territories where the movie opened in nearly 10,000 venues, the best market outside North America for "Breaking Dawn" was Robert Pattinson's native U.K., which accounted for $22 million of the worldwide gross. Strong territories also included Russia ($15 million), France ($14.5 million), Australia ($12.2 million), Italy ($12 million), Spain ($11.6 million) and Brazil ($10.2 million), where some of the film was shot.

Director Bill Condon's first "Twilight" movie suffered the worst reviews of the generally critically panned series but collected a so-so "B+" CinemaScore from the fans who rushed out to see it ("New Moon" enjoyed an "A-" CinemaScore while "Eclipse" scored a straight "A"). The acclaimed filmmaker behind critical darlings "Gods and Monsters," "Kinsey" and two-time Oscar winner "Dreamgirls" will helm "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" as well, which adapts the second half of Stephenie Meyer's fourth and final "Twilight" book. "Part 2" is due in theaters next year and will, of course, star Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, alongside the rest of the "Saga" regulars.

"Breaking Dawn - Part 1" cost Summit Entertainment a reported $110 million to produce after tax rebates. By comparison, the first "Twilight" film was made for an estimated $37 million. The "Breaking Dawn" audience was about 80 percent female, according to Summit, but 50 percent of the crowd was older than 25. Comparatively, only 46 percent of the "Eclipse" audience was over 25.

"Happy Feet Two" was a distant second to "Breaking Dawn" over the weekend, earning just $22 million in its debut. The animated sequel suffered from poor reviews and a five-year gap since the original. Last weekend's #1 movie, "Immortals," was #3 with $12.2 million. Adam Sandler's critically reviled "Jack and Jill" was #4 with $12 million. "Puss in Boots" rounded out the top five with another $10.7 million for an impressive $122.3 million gross. The "Shrek" spin-off has enjoyed mostly positive reviews from critics too.

While all other movies at the box office were dwarfed by the success of "Twilight," there was one category where the second-to-last entry in the franchise suffered defeat: per-screen average. "The Descendants," which has already generated Oscar buzz for star George Clooney, opened in just 29 theaters but managed to clear $1.29 million. That's an average of $42,150 per location. "Breaking Dawn," by comparison, was available in 4,061 places, which equates to an average of $34,245 per location. "Descendants" also counts a book (about a man who learns of his wife's affair as she lays in a coma from a boating accident) as its source material. It's only the fifth directorial feature from writer/director Alexander Payne, whose filmography includes "Sideways," "About Schmidt" and "Election."

This weekend, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" will see competition from Jason Segel's spirited and reverential revival of "The Muppets" (which currently boasts a perfect 100 score on film review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes); iconic filmmaker Martin Scorsese's 3-D adventure "Hugo"; and kids' flick "Arthur Christmas," among others. Horror master David Cronenberg's period drama "A Dangerous Method" and Oscar bait "My Week With Marilyn," which stars Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, open in limited release.

While she was elated when her baby boy arrived, she wasn't a fan of the extra weight. "My stomach was gross. Looking at my body when I got into the shower was heartbreaking," Kim, 38, reveals. "Everyone said the weight would come off if I breast-fed, but that didn't work for me at all."

So Kim started doing 20-minute bursts of cardio and resistant-band work in her home while her son was napping. "I was too self-conscious to go to the gym," she admits. 'Dark Knight Rises': Why We're Finally Excited

New details about the film reveal an actual movie in this edition of The Weekly Rising.
By Kevin P. Sullivan

Christian Bale and Tom Hardy on the set of "Dark Knight Rises" in New York City
Photo: Getty Images

Empire has just unleashed a mountain of awesomeness. Beyond the cover photos, we now have plot details, a description of Bane's character (hint: it involves crushing skulls) and a confirmation of the content of the prologue.

You decided, and the votes have been counted. Empire revealed Bane as the first of their two "Dark Knight Rises" covers, and we all got to see Tom Hardy in his evil asthmatic getup straight on for the first time.

It wasn't anything we couldn't have extrapolated from what we've already seen of him, but there is something to be said about looking at an almost unrecognizable Hardy face-to-face. It's like seeing him from his days in "Bronson" (which, if you haven't seen, do so immediately), but even crazier, and that's saying something.

This really is an entirely different look at Bane than we've seen before. If you were like me and gave your computer screen a serious "huh?" when you heard about the casting news, this picture puts to rest any idea that the Bane of the Schumacher Bat-verse is dead and buried.

Hardy and Nolan's Bane is dark, scary and might need some Proactiv Solution Deep Cleansing body wash for whatever is happening on his shoulder. (This edition of The Weekly Rising is brought you to by Proactiv.)

It's difficult not to reminisce about the now-iconic Empire cover with a smirking Heath Ledger as the Joker, one of the best early looks we got at his character. The image of Bane doesn't quite measure up for several reasons — the main being that it's Bane we're talking about here — but seeing "The Dark Knight Rises" promoted in any way like "The Dark Knight" was and is always welcome.

We do have to pause and give the Batman some credit. Bane may have beaten him in the polls, but the reveal of the second-place picture brought more surprise than the Bane image, which we've more or less seen in the deluge of spy photos from the set. The Batman cover shows as the Caped Crusader we all need but don't deserve, and he's packing more heat than we expected.

Mild Spoilers Ahead The big question emerging from these photos will be, "What the hell is that thing Batman's holding?" Any kind of speculation would be completely arbitrary and meaningless at this point, so let's guess what it is. In photos from the set down on Wall Street, we've seen a large timed device that looks like near-future technology, somewhat on par with what we've already seen from the Nolan Batman films. The gun may work to counteract that tech or it could be just a new weapon. Like I said, speculation is meaningless. End Spoilers

Secrets about the film lay inside Empire, and I won't get into them here. The issue hits newsstands on November 24 and details have already begun to trickle out, but I feel the new info means a lot more than just secrets revealed.

What the new issue of Empire does with its set visit and plot details is give us an actual sense that "The Dark Knight Rises" is a film and not just a series of set photos. There is a real story here, and it looks like Nolan is once again doing something unexpected with this story. Every new bit of information inspires excitement beyond what any spy photos or videos could. Nolan and company plan to end their story of Bruce Wayne and the Batman in a way that is final and true to the vision they've explored in two films thus far. This is incredibly exciting stuff.

For the first time, the news about "The Dark Knight Rises" signals what Nolan hopes to do with the film: complete a trilogy. The scraps of news and rumors from the set we've had to chew on so far have trivialized what's really going on here. It is not about Catwoman's ear, Bane's fur coat or the Batwing. The new information from Empire finally gave us an idea of what we can expect from the two hours we'll all spend in the dark this coming July.

What did you think of the new details? Let me know on Twitter via @MTVMoviesBlog, and we'll discuss next week. Also, be sure to check out our new weekly discussion show, "Talk Nerdy to Me."

Iron Man's 'Avengers' Armor Needs To Hulk Out

In this week's Marvel Mania, we tackle Tony Stark's wardrobe and argue for the appearance of his Hulkbuster armor in next summer's 'Avengers.'
By Josh Wigler

There's a wonderful Internet meme that touts "money" as the best superpower in the world, and though it's a crude stance, it's got some weight. At the very least, money fuels two of the most popular and successful comic book heroes of them all: Batman and Iron Man. Without a good chunk of cash at their disposal, neither Bruce Wayne nor Tony Stark would have the necessary resources to wage their elaborate, gadget-heavy wars on crime, would they?

It's the latter hero — Iron Man — that we'll focus on in Marvel Mania, our new weekly MTV News column highlighting the various movies coming out from the House of Ideas. Already the most widely embraced hero in the Marvel Studios catalog, ol' Shellhead's about to make his third big-screen voyage with "The Avengers" next summer. With each subsequent appearance onscreen, Robert Downey Jr.'s billionaire playboy has found new and improved ways to upgrade his already impressive armor. (Suitcase suit, we're looking at you.) But will Tony's red-and-gold duds get another makeover when "Avengers" comes in for a landing — and, most importantly, will we finally see the hero's Hulkbuster armor?

First revealed in 1994's "Iron Man" #318, Tony Stark's Hulkbuster armor is a massive, heavy-set version of his classic Iron Man suit that was created specifically to handle one-on-one combat against the Hulk. The Hulkbuster has made numerous appearances since then — including a brief stint in Greg Pak's 2007 "World War Hulk" story line — and with Stark finally coming face-to-face with Bruce Banner in "The Avengers," it's all but guaranteed that Marvel will finally bust out the fan-favorite armor.

Or ... maybe not.

Revered Marvel Comics illustrator Adi Granov spoke with Italian outlet Bad Taste about his upcoming concept art for "Avengers," revealing that it will likely be a while before Tony breaks out the Hulkbuster suit on the big screen: "In the first ['Iron Man'] movie we had the Iron Monger ... the idea for him came from the Hulkbuster. I did a cover with the Hulkbuster in it. Jon Favreau liked that design and asked me to draw something similar to it for the Iron Monger. So technically the Iron Monger is the Hulkbuster, and that I think is why for a while we won't see it in a movie. It would only be yet another Iron Man big type of armor."

Granov's words shouldn't be taken as gospel — as someone involved with "The Avengers," it's in his best interest to talk around and guard the film's greatest secrets. Perhaps Hulkbuster is already a part of Joss Whedon's vision for Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but if it's not, it certainly should be.

Hulkbuster is one of the flashiest weapons in Tony Stark's arsenal, and with the Stark Industries head finally meeting up with the Jade Giant in "The Avengers," it seems criminal to leave the armor on the bench. Think about the explosive fight sequences that could come from the incredible Hulk slugging it out with an equally massive Iron Man. Marvel's marketing guys have to know how many toys that would sell, right?

Further, the fact that Iron Monger has its roots in the Hulkbuster design lays all the groundwork the Marvel team needs to bring the suit to the screen. "Iron Man," "Thor" and "Captain America" have all gone above and beyond the call of duty in planting the seeds for "The Avengers." Wouldn't it be nice for "Avengers" to return the favor, nodding back to the very first Marvel Studios movie by having Tony repurpose his old foe's evildoing armor for a nobler cause? That's a twice-cooked Easter Egg that fans would eat up with glee.

Will the Hulkbuster smash its way onto the big screen next summer? Who knows. But I do know this: Tony Stark has a whole lot of money, and a whole lot of money can pay for a whole lot of insanely sophisticated anti-crime armor. If it's not the Hulkbuster, then Stark better have some kind of awesome Iron Man upgrade when "Avengers" assembles on May 4, 2012.

'Breaking Dawn' Will 'Suck The Life' Out Of Box Office

Box-office analyst Jeff Bock tells MTV News the 'Twilight' flick could earn $150 million during opening weekend.

Anyone who is at least vaguely familiar with the "Twilight Saga" and the phenomenon that it is could tell you that "Breaking Dawn - Part 1," the penultimate entry in the series, is going to be big at the box office.

Just how big? Deadline Hollywood reported Wednesday (November 16) that Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the paranormal romance films, expects a domestic opening-weekend gross of anywhere from $110 million to $125 million. An opening weekend within that range could put it in the top 10 highest-grossing debuts ever.

As large as those figures may be, they are still a far cry from the biggest domestic opening for a "Twilight" film. In 2009, "New Moon" earned a whopping $142 million during its three-day opening, beating the series' second best debut, "Eclipse," by $22 million.

Jeff Bock, box-office analyst for Exhibitor Relations, thinks "Breaking Dawn" could outperform Summit's expectations. "Expect 'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' to suck the life out of the box office to the tune of $150 million this weekend," Bock wrote in an email to MTV News.

That would put the film within the top five all-time weekends, but Bock doubts it will break any records. "It's doubtful it can top 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2''s record-breaking $169 million debut," Bock said. "But it's certainly not out of the question for 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' to hit that mark."

Bock's predictions are more along the lines of what rival studios expect from the film, according to Deadline. Despite Summit's own lofty expectations, a more recent version of the same report claims that rival studios have accused Summit of low-balling the figures. The other studios expect "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" to earn in excess of $142 million

'Breaking Dawn' Director Gave Fans 'A Lot' Of Sex

Bill Condon tells MTV News he tried 'to give people the experience they had reading the book' in 'Part 1.'
By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

"Breaking Dawn - Part 1" features two of the most hotly anticipated moments in the entire "Twilight Saga." First, lovebirds Bella Swan and Edward Cullen finally get it on. And later, in a far less tender scene, Bella endures a pretty gory birth to give life to her half-human, half-vampire daughter, Renesmee.

Bill Condon knew all along that those two scenes were pivotal moments that he would need to get right onscreen. But keeping in mind the PG-13 rating the studio wanted to preserve, the director also knew that he had to tackle those intense sequences without going too far over the line. When MTV News caught up with Condon, he predicted that fans will be pleased with the final product (especially the sex scene), which hit theaters on Friday (November 18).

As in the novel, the honeymoon scene plays out mostly through Bella remembering the passionate night the morning after, which allowed Condon to show the event in several parts.

"I think when you see the movie you'll see, you think you get it and then you get more of it and then you get more of it, which I think was part of the intention because it's such a big thing — everyone's been waiting for it," he said. "We just wanted to make sure you got a lot of it when you got it."

And Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were good sports about the whole process, Condon said, though he admitted filming the steamy section got "kind of clinical." The scene was carefully choreographed but the two lead actors were "so cool about it."

The birthing sequence, which easily could have pushed the film to an "R" rating, proved similarly challenging. Condon wanted to stay as true as possible to Stephenie Meyer's depiction but he knew he couldn't be too graphic. "You want to give people the experience they had reading the book, and that was incredibly powerful, the way Stephenie described it.

"You can't show everything, obviously, we have a [PG-13] rated movie," he said. "But we did it through the point of view of Bella and what she can see as she's giving birth. I think your imagination fills in a lot of that."

Kerry Katona to have bankruptcy lifted finally thanks to CBB money?

Three years after she was declared bankrupt, Kerry Katona has now cleared off all her debts.

Apparently the reality star used the 350,000 she earned from appearing in Celebrity Big Brother to settle the remainder of her debts ? so she?s now able to have a mortgage and a credit card again (to get herself into more debt presumably).

Kerry has been telling pals she?s ?relieved and proud? to have sorted out her dire finances. A source told a Sunday newspaper today:

?She?s really chuffed, and she should be too. She put her head down, worked hard and done the right thing.

?The people in charge of her bankruptcy thought she would blow all her Big Brother money but she handed it over to them to settle her debt.

?They?ve made it clear they will not object to any request she makes to the courts to have her bankruptcy discharged.?

Now that she?s got her cash flow problems under control it?s thought that her friends have been urging her to turn her back on celebrity in order to launch a more normal life for herself, apparently they think she should use her money to start an upmarket salon.

Do you think she?ll be able to resist the urge of the spotlight though?

Nah, thought not.

Taylor Lautner On Honeymoon Scene: 'It's About Time'

'I've seen Edward and Bella go through a lot so far, so I feel like I was kind of ready to see this,' Lautner tells MTV News.

Of all the buzz surrounding this week's hugely anticipated release of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," the vast majority of fan rumblings and excitement have been about and for one scene and one scene only: the "honeymoon scene," a.k.a. Bella and Edward's sex scene.

It's a different story for the actors involved, specifically for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who have talked at length about how awkward filming the scene was. Their co-stars seem to be onboard with their enthusiasm for the "action," however. When MTV News caught up with Taylor Lautner recently, he said he was ready for it.

"I've seen Edward and Bella go through a lot so far, so I feel like I was kind of ready to see this," Lautner said. "I think everybody will feel the same way. We've seen Edward and Bella in their relationship grow so much that it's about time."

"Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer told us at the "Breaking Dawn" premiere that the scene in the movie gives fans a lot more to see and think about than she did in the book.

"I think it's romantic, and it does give you more than the book does," Meyer said. "I know some of the sites call it, instead of 'fade to black,' 'fade to sad.' They'd love to see more. I think this gives them that," she said. "It gives them a romantic peek into the honeymoon. We don't want to see too much."

Although everyone seems to be excited to see the honeymoon scene, Lautner still isn't sure that Bella made the right decision when she chose Edward over his character, Jacob Black. When asked if he thought Bella made the wrong call, he jokingly said, "You know, I go back and forth with that one [question] still."

Selena Gomez?s waxwork unveiled next to Bieber?s as Mariah Yeater?s case falls apart

This ongoing Justin Bieber paternity suit is like a plotline from a dodgy soap.

After getting rid of her old lawyers and acquiring new ones to pursue the alleged father of her child in private, Mariah Yeater may have now ruined her own case by revealing her lies to a pal via text.

The 19-year-old mother, who claims she became pregnant by Justin following a 30 second romp following one of his gigs, texted a pal (who then showed/sold his messages to TMZ) saying:

"Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbies Son Ill kick u when we get paid im trusting you pleeease"

"Would you please stress to Robbie how important it is for him to be in his son's life?"

As you can imagine Justin?s lawyers jumped for joy when these messages saw the light of day and instantly released a statement saying:

"This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story.

"Our independent investigation indicates Ms Yeater never met Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child's father, and Ms Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media."

Hopefully this Yeater woman will now vanish into obscurity. Meanwhile Selena Gomez spoke out briefly yesterday (while on the Ellen DeGeneres show) about how the claims had affected her relationship to Justin saying it had not been ?easy to deal with?.

It seems as though this who-ha certainly hasn?t torn the two apart though, thankfully, and coincidentally Selena?s new waxwork was even unveiled right next to Justin?s (really creepy) old one in NY yesterday. Now they have to stay together forever.
